I have been looking forward to this wedding for a whole year now, every time I have met with Cara and I heard all the amazing details that she had planned for the day I just knew it was going to be one breathtaking day. A few months ago a had the privilege to also do a couple shoot with them (click here) and I really enjoy spending time with them.
They got married at Olive Rock a stunning venue on the way to Ceres. One by one all the friends in their friendship group is getting married and what I am really enjoying is seeing how each one varies. Destination weddings are the best. Olive Rock is surrounded by fields and orchards and beautiful mountains. So pretty in the summer and I bet a real adventure in the winter – with how things are going I would even expect snow in the near future.
This is the second wedding in this friendship group and their is always one similarity, the closeness of this group of friends and I swear if these brides could they would have like ten bridesmaids. I always enjoy spending time with them and laugh at when I need to start getting strict because let me tell you organising 14 people for a few different photo’s is no easy task.
So for the record the ‘sausage wedding’ was a blast and from what I could see everyone had a really good time 🙂
Vanya and Cara, thanks for choosing me to be a part of your special day. I really enjoy spending time with you two and your love is truly unique, I really need to remember this sausage nickname (I think it’s a keeper) 😉 I wish you guys so much love, happiness and future sausage adventures. Here are a few of my favourite pics but there are many many more 🙂 xx
Thanks also to my lovely assistant Dale, a superstar, good friend, and an amazing photographer 🙂
